Frequently Asked Questions

Are coaching sessions in person or virtual?

Coaching sessions can be done either virtual (via zoom or phone call) or in person if you are in the local area.

How do I know if what you offer is a good fit for me?

I offer a free 20 minute, first time phone consultation to all new clients who wish to see if the coaching I offer will aid  them in achieving their desired goals or support them on whatever journey they are currently on.

Do you charge by the session or are there packages available?

You can purchase a single session or yes I can design a package that will best meet your needs. When coaching sessions are purchased in a package they are discounted for you.

What approach do you use in your weight loss coaching?

My approach to health and wellness  is a balanced approach. I believe there is no one right diet to fit every person. The best eating plan for you is one that works and that you can work into a lifestyle. That being said you need to look at a number of things that play an  important role to your health such as stress, sleep, and exercise to name a few. Also we must not simply look to outside things affecting our health, but also what we put in minds, how we think and our spiritual health can contribute to our wellbeing. Together we look at how these things play a role in your life and design a plan that works for you.

What do you mean by Gospel-centered coaching?

Gospel-centered coaching is simply looking at what God's Word has to say about the area of life you are seeking help. I believe that God's Word is sufficient to meet our every need and will provide the only true and lasting change we seek. Often the world will simply show us how to make behavioral changes, but not address the heart in the matter. If our heart is not changed, rarely will lasting change happen. Gospel centered coaching is getting God's perspective on the matter you are struggling with and applying His Truth to that area, resulting in transformation.
