“It would be a shame to work so hard to be fit for this world and be unfit for the KING!”
Our physical health, especially in the areas of diet and exercise, are subjects that many, if not all of us, can relate to as women, in some fashion or another. For some of us it is an obsession. For others maintaining a healthy diet and exercise is a constant battle and source of pain and struggle. Still others of us have taken a careless or indifferent approach to our health.
As important as our physical health is, God tells us in His Word that there is something even more important that we need to concern ourselves with, and that is our spiritual health. 1 Timothy 4:8 tells us, “Physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.”
For as much time and energy that we invest into our physical health, think of the benefits we would gain if we put that same energy into addressing our spiritual health. This means asking ourselves some tough questions. “Do we crave Christ more than the junk food this world has to offer?” “Are we as devoted and passionate about strengthening and firming our faith as we are about our abs?” “Are we as concerned about the toxins that can resonate in our hearts, as we are about the chemicals in our food?”
True health is more than just counting calories or time on a treadmill. It begins on the inside with what fills our heart and consumes our thinking. Becoming Spiritually FIT begins with allowing the Holy Spirit to shed light on the current condition of our spiritual health. It’s about increasing our appetite for God and passionately pursuing a relationship with Him as Lord and Savior. It’s about strengthening our knowledge of the Word and then living by it, allowing God to firm up our faith with the transforming power of His Truth.
At Weights Lifted, we care about your spiritual fitness just as much as we care about your physical health. Now YOU CAN experience a coaching program that will help improve your spiritual health, by focusing on many of the same areas that you would address with your physical health. Don’t miss out on the abundant life that Jesus came to give. Begin today and experience the benefits of a Spiritually FIT life!

Soul Care: Personal 1-on-1 Coaching
Soul Care is one-on-one coaching that is designed to assist you with a specific area of concern in your own life. We provide you with tools, biblical perspective, encouragement and accountability to help you move through the coaching process towards the person that God has called you to be. During this journey we often address the whole person, including your physical, mental, relational and spiritual well-being.
One-on-one coaching can be done in person or by phone. Sessions typically last 45-50 minutes and are scheduled 1-2 weeks apart. Although this type of coaching can be done with individual sessions, we highly recommend a commitment of 3 months for best results. Coaching packages are available.
Coaching is not therapy or a prolonged look at the past. Instead it is acknowledging where you currently are in an area of your life, applying God’s truth to your situation, and then moving forward in faith to where God is calling you to be.
Common Coaching Topics:
It’s the Thought that Counts
Uncover unhealthy thinking patterns and lies we believe that keep us stuck and affect both our spiritual growth and physical health. We also take a closer look at the harmful effects of destructive self-talk.
Discovering who you are in Christ, where your true identity can be found.
At THE HEART OF THE MATTER
True lasting change begins in the heart. If there is no fruit in an area of your life then you have to go down and examine the root of the matter. This begins with a careful examination of the heart, which is where all behavior is begins.
Opening the door to freedom
A new perspective can change everything, even when your circumstances stay the same. Discover how seeing God’s perspective, in an area of your life, can break the chains that have kept you stuck and help you open the door to new found freedom in Christ.
